Succulents are so diverse and cool, it's no wonder that they are popular houseplants. I have a fair amount of them myself, some given as gifts, some bought already mature, and others started from a single leaf.
Agave
Aloe vera
Christmas cactus
Jade plant
Kalanchoe
Air plants - Not a succulent, but a bromeliad. Still very cool.
